I went out this morning with the 180mm macro and extension to get some true macro shots. With extension, I was able to get fairly close to capture some of the texture on the fruiting bodies of the lichens. K5 IIs, 180mm f3.5 + 35mm extension (1/4 sec at f14, ISO 500, 10 image stack Pmax, Topaz Details, Luminosity masks on midtones, Bright Lights, Super darks, darks, Make it Glow at 10% opacity..................Jim

Excellent "micro-scape", Jim with lots of fine detail. I like your placement of elements, with the small gap of rock, the emphasis on the white lichen and their fruiting bodies in the center, set off nicely by the yellow lichen at the top.
