I really like the saturated colors and the hint of color in the water. I might pull some more detail out of the shadows.

Tom, I like this very much. The water looks fantastic to me with wonderful texture and flow. The details in the background look great and I like the natural colors a lot. This image just works for me!

You've definitely got a good primordial feeling here, Tom. The sense of flow in the creek works well and the hint of color near the far bank adds interest to the stream. I really like those two logs and their angles. I also reacted similarly to Nick, in thinking that I think bringing up the brightness and color gently on the far bank might work very well. The larger version does some of that so compression is an issue here.

Thanks Mark:
I sent this from my laptop and should have sent it from my studio computer. The laptop screen is too bright and gives a dark image when seen on a calibrated monitor. Looking high ad low for my Spyder which is MIA since our seasonal move from "Summer Quarters". As always, good comments! Tom

The water motion looks perfect, Tom. I could also see bringing up the lights slightly in the riverbank greens, but as is it has a nice natural lush feel to it.

I really like the natural color, here, Tom. The flow of the water is excellent. You could bring up the lighter tones in forest just a bit. The shadow detail looks fine to me.

Looks like a gorgeous forest, there is something with dead moss-covered trees that just fascinates me. No nits for me, maybe brightening up a bit might improve it, but on the other hand, I also like the dark atmosphere it creates like this, which fits these kind of forests so well.

Beautiful little scene, Tom. Makes the fly fisherman in me salivate a little. Love the crossed moss covered logs and the stream SS is perfect.

This is fantastic Tom! Excellent composition and perfect shutter speed. I really don't have any problem with the shadows as is; if you open them up any just do it a little bit otherwise the contrast could become too flat. This image really grabs me! Well done.

Tom, I enjoy the dynamics as well as the fine balance in your image. The fallen trunks together with the flow of the creek add an impressive sense of transitoriness to me. Besides, your choice of shutter speed is spot on to my eye.
