From April 2013, another tentscape with lush green grass and some lupine in the Cache Creek Wilderness. Headed back there in about an hour for the night to see what it looks like a little earlier in the year for afternoon and morning light.

f/22, 5 sec, ISO-100, 70mm, tripod, early evening.

Pretty fresh looking site, The green looks over-saturated to me.

That yellow really pops. I would maybe try and get a little more contrast (selectively) from the bottom 1/3 of the image with that bright grass but otherwise this is a fine image

Difficult to find weak images here....and I like also this one.
The situation is well expressed with essential and clear chromatic effect.
Covincing composition and I like also the dynamic: extented to the extremes but with good tone transitions.
all the best,

Sweet camping spot! The yellow tent stands out very nicely against the spring greens. Lovely.... Maybe burn the middle of the lower half a bit to match the luminance of the other parts of grass?

Striking image. The greens do look a little electric, but that may well have been the way they were.

Looks like a cozy and beautiful retreat, nicely framed by oaks and lupines. Very nice representation of California's foothill oak woodlands. I wonder if it could use a bit of a clockwise rotation?

I agree with the other comments already given. My first impression was that the colors were over saturated and to bright.

Thanks for the comments. Yep, it sure is green/yellow

Probably overdid it somewhat but it's what it feels like when you're there in the spring. Speaking of which spring is already happening there about a month early this year. Lots of flowers already, particularly shooting stars, redbuds in full bloom, grass getting high... water surprisingly muddy for some reason. Not an auspicious start to another drought-y year.... need a March Miracle please! <--- looking skyward for some moisture
