Beautiful Dave! I love how the background sets the sand patterns apart.

What a great view, Dave, and you captured it well. There's a lot going on in this frame; the ripples in the sand, the undulating waves of the dunes, and the jagged triangles formed by the background. The blue and gold compliment each other nicely.

Dave: I'm thoroughly hooked on dunes as subjects and this is really nice. Terrific light and the light and shadow play is marvelous. My only suggestion is to crop a bit of the BG from the top. It competes just enough with the main subject that I noticed it. Great shot. >=))>

Love all the ripples in the dunes as well as the zig-zag of light and dark across the dunes. The mountain at the back sets off all of the structures in the dunes very well. I could also see some crop off the top, but the textural contrast back there is a major asset.

Amazing patterns, captured with the perfect light. I could also see this work very well without the background, to give a bit more of an abstract feeling to it.

Very cool image, Dave! I like all the different patterns in the sand and the way the dunes themselves create a pattern. Excellent comp and light. Very nicely done!
