Great pattern you captured in the aurora! I also like the clouds with a greenish tint, hovering in the distance. Nice!

Lovely sky with all the stars and the aurora dancing. Just enough detail in the foreground (and that cloud on the horizon) to let the land play add a fine sense of place.

Peter!

Very nice image, with the curves and all must be a very wide image. I need to work on my aurora technique, certainly in mid Alaska there are good opportunities. The way the Aurora swoops over Iceland and Greenland it is often at a lower latitude, doing flights fro Europe to the US West Coast in winter it was often south of us. That was before the advent of the really high ISO cameras, it might be now possible to photograph the lights from the air.

The ice and inclusion of some somewhat reflecting water in the foreground works well. The Aurora comes and goes so quickly you accomplished the most important task, being there!

Again, nice image!

This is a really incredible image. The ones that I have seen in the past are so strangely placed in the frame that I got a sense that they occur so infrequently and unpredictably that you just took what was there and made the most of it. But this is really well composed with the landscape and the water reflections and the stars that it stands up above the rest. This actually makes you want to see the "northern lights".

Wonderful shot. The stars adds a dimension I haven't seen with this subject in the past.

PS would like to see a larger version of this if possible.

Wonderful image of the aurora. Back to back shots from Iceland.

My only nit would be to include all of Orion in the frame next time.

Great image. Someday I am going to get to Iceland someday and get a chance at some of the great images I have seen coming from there.
