Very nice Howard. The background really shows this guy off. I do wish for a catchlight in the eye, but sometimes it just isn't there. Well done.

Very nice capture of this sparrow in flight, Howard, and nice bg. I like the position of the wings.

Good capture Howard. You captured some nice detail in the body and the wings have just enough blur to imply motion......................Jim

Howard,
This like a lot, but cannot explain why, I think probably because it looks so natural :toast: :toast:

Very well captured and presented Howard, the background is very complimentary and the placement of the bird in frame offers a very pleasing composition. :toast:

Very cool to catch this species in flight with the wing down Howard, the detail looks great. For me ideally the wing wouldn't intersect with the branch but nothing you could have done about that. Sweet shot! :toast:

Howard,
Clearly this is a wonderful shot. I read all the comments and looked for concurrence with my perception that the focus point may be on the wing rather than the eye. Or perhaps I need to get a new eyeglass prescription. Keep posting, I like your work. :toast:
