Splendid snowy scenery in the Swiss Jura. I passed this ruin every time I go shooting in the Jura Mountain of northwest switzerland and on that day end of december last year it looked so beautiful - i've never seen it like that before.

Are you kidding me, Bill? Phenomenal. Off the charts. Both haunting and enchanting. While I LOVE B&W so can't help but wonder along with Rick if this might not be epic in monochrome, in this case I think the warm tones of the ruin contrasts wonderfully with the colourless surroundings. Just fantastic.

Really an enchanting scene. Nice composition and presentation. I like it as presented. I think it would lose something in a B&W translation.

Magic Kingdom. The scene is magical... don't do anything except print it large.

Absolutely gorgeous scene. Impeccable timing after or during a storm to get the snow-laden branches of the evergreens. Never seems to last on the branches long enough. I wouldn't mind the flag pole being gone or blowing in the breeze, but that is incredibly minor to the rest of the image. Very very nice.

Looks like something out of a fairy tale book....enchanting. And cold! Really nice, unique image. Love the relative lack of contrast here. It helps make it seem very painterly.
