After the comments from my first post of this guy, I decided to put some work in to this image. I do like the composition of this one with more landscape on the bottom, but there was a problem. I don't know what caused the problem in the upper left corner, but it was not good. I included the original so you could see what I had to correct. I do appreciate all the input that I get on my images because it is very helpful. I do not always post an image that I do some extra work on because of the comments, but I do take them to heart and many times rework the image. Again thanks for all of your comments and critiques.

Lovely shot! Terrific eye contact and clarity. But I thought wtf with the bg? Then I read about yre probs. Looks to me like something flapped in front of the lens when you took the shot, oof strap? Dunno. You've done a pretty good job of cleaning it up but the colour variation between left and right is distracting I'm afraid. Easy enough to drop in a new bg.

Hi Richard,

I liked the original post, and think that this version is an improvement. My thought on the upper right corner (in the second image in this post) is the same as that of Peter - looks like something flapped in front of the lens. It would be fairly easy to clean it up further in Photoshop to match the left side (if you so choose). It seems like a major modification on the image, but I suppose in a sense you're just cleaning up something that was an artifact of the photographic process and returning the scene to its original state - kinda like a REALLY BIG dust spot on your sensor!

Cheers...

Richard,
This is a great pose and I particularly like the bush.
As taken I can only wonder what happened
The "clean up" has been done very well although it is still just a tad different in colour to the other side, althgugh I would not probably have noticed anything if you had not pointed it out :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

Richard..this is a fine image. For me the original has more mood to it. I may not want to know what caused the black there in the frame. Works fine..

Hello Richard

Original look good, Repost has some qualities too, maybe another run at this with a very gentle approach.
