I've just returned from Nate Chappell's Ecuador workshop where one of the highlights of the trip for me was capturing this very animated seedsnipe atop Papallacta Pass. Wonderful workshop, extremely well planned, and loads of fun. Thanks Nate!

Very cool image Chuck. The green foreground is really nice and the pose is quite dynamic. Nicely captured.

Everything about this is killer. It's as if he stretched out his wings just to send this image over the top. Well done/

Hi Chuck, cool trip by the looks of it and a warmer location too.

Looks like both camera & PP stuff have come together nicely here :toast: BKG gives nice separation and love the natural perch. Ooh, have you changed your metering  ? One question Chuck, where is the focus point, looks like the it's on the back/wing going up, or does the head need a wee bit more sharpening???? Great coloration in that plumage, gorgeous.

:toast: :toast:

TFS, talk soon.

I like the raised wings and the curvature of the ground...nicely framed. Great work Chuck.

Chuck, the wing spread makes for a different type of shot. The addition of those intricate feather patterns helps the bird pop against the background. Nicely done!
