Had some fine ice contours on my pond Friday with a small amount of color coming through from the water lilies below and enhanced well by reflections from the surroundings. A 7 image stack for top to bottom sharpness. (5D3, 100mm macro IS, 1/8s, f/8, iso 200, tripod, polarizer, and cable release)

The large version is particularly good Mark. I love all the sub ice colours and the glazed blue sky across its surface.

You are the king of "icescapes" Mark. This is another beauty! Especially the large version is a treat.

Beautiful lines and reflections!! I will be the contrarian and say I find the deep color on the right and just below center pulls my attention away from the ice patterns, and I really like the patterns. Not a huge deal and a real nice image either way!

Wonderful kaleidoscope of colors, Mark. The angle of light really provided nice contrast to the array of color. Nicely executed.

Very cool shot, shards of glass. My only suggestion might be to clone out the tiny 2 specs of debris left of center - they seem to sake away from the continuity of the ice structures since they are so far from those forms. A tiny detail in a fine image.

Very beautiful - the depth of field gives a real three dimensional feel to the image!

Another amazing ice image, Mark. Execution of the stack, flawless. I agree with Ian about cloning the few specs of debris, but a very minor nit. Nice work as always.

Beautiful abstract, Mark. Very precise lines with subtle transition of colors. I could look at this forever. There is an endless number of compositions within this composition. It's sort of a 'Tony Kuyperish' composition.

This is very striking image, Mark. The diagonal lines are very eye catching and work beautifully with the combination of warm and cool colors in this ice abstract. I am not sure what it is, but I think I would clone out those white squiggly lines in the LRC. They pull me away from all the wonderful other things in this beauty. Great eye to spot this.

Wish I had stuff like this in my backyard occasionally. Great lines and color. Of course the sharpness is exquisite. I agree with cloning out the distracting specks.
