Little Grebe

Today I was rather busy, but still found a moment to venture out in the forest close by. The Little Grebes are usually very shy, but today I was lucky and could make some nice shots.

This is very nice Hans. Cute bird, low perspective, great background and water. It all came together. The large image is a must view. If I had to find something, I would say a bit more room on the bottom. Other than that, perfect.

not sure what everyone is so excited about here--all I see is great soft light, perfect low angle, fantastic detail, beautiful setting and perfect comp--basically just your typical Hans Overduin shot.

Hans,

This one is very nice. The fuzzy grebe feathers are nice and sharp and the heaf is also in perfect focus. The soft BG helps to separate the grebe from the surroundings
