I like this color version Harley. You captured some beautiful light and color and those clouds really add to the scene.

Nice morning light, though I think I liked your B&W version from the same spot better. Yes the wind, always the wind! I would imagine a great long stitched pan could be made from here! I do like the more inclusive foreground sage!

Pretty nice Mr. Harley. I like the light and the gold and blues are always a great combo. The wind may have been blowing, but I don't see any haze. That has to be a bonus.

crisp and clear - very pleasant. there may be something odd with the horizon and levelling - at the right the clouds appear to be at an odd angle (or is it the crick in my neck)?

Nice broad view with excellent definition almost to the horizon. Must have been one of those dry, clear days when you can see to the horizon so clearly. Outstanding, Harley! :toast:

This looks fantastic!! What a beautiful image it is. Great comp, wonderful light and color and I really enjoy the clean, clear feel it has. This is my favorite of the Striped Butte images and they were all excellent! :smile:

The large version is a must see to really appreciate this, Harley. I like the color combo of earth tones and cool blues in this beautiful landscape; all topped off with some wonderful clouds. I think this would also work rather well as a B&W.
