For some reason this shows up in my photos but not in the gallery?

Amazing landscape!! I really like the lenticular cloud over the peak. I find the wall on the left hand side of the frame to be too dominant as it tends to draw my eye too much.

Well caught. The lenticular cloud adds interest. I would crop about half the heavy wall on the left.
The gallery photos have to be posted separately.

Really nice shot.
It think I'd just dodge the shadows a hair more on the left upper area (about 1/2) so it is less weighty there.

This is really a stunning image Tom. Have to agree with the others though, that the left side kinda throws this outta balance a little. Originally I thought a crop was the answer but Mark's suggestion seems more on the mark .
However, rather than just dodge the shadows on the left I would brighten up the snow patches on that side somewhat, particularly the one on the upper left. A subtle change no doubt, but I think it would really make this image really sing.

What makes this shot is the cloud over the mountain peak. The wall on the left is a bit too dominant so would crop half of it and then brighten the darks a bit. But otherwise I like it as is

What a cool shot this is! This has a good feel to me and I like it as you have it. The larger version works even better and seems to put you right into the scene. That cloud is fantastic! Nice work Tom!

My daughter and I were up to make a pre season landing at the mountain house in my ski equipped cub. End of Feburary or beginning of March, still brisk out! Mountain house, built in the 1960s by bush pilot Don Sheldon is a popular landing site in the park. Mt Barrill on the left, and the famous Cobra Pillar are climbers landmarks. Many of my photos are from a climbers perspective which may involve a slightly different aesthetic. Some of. It what they laughingly refer to as mountain porn where they revel in the mountaineering and challenge of it. Dark to light, the contrasts and brooding ness of this particular place is the yin and yang of it. With the Blad I use a pistol grip which allows either horizontal or vertical photos with ease and makes for a smoother release. I do need to use the crank to advance the digits, so attempt to have everything come together at the critical moment. Flying the plane lets me attempt to put the plane where I want it, but not a lot of time to do other than previsualize an image and attempt to enshrine the moment with some uncertainty. The Canon with a grip is a little easier to use in tight confines with much less to think about.

I like this image a lot. The light is great, the bright blue sky contrasts with the rest of the scene and the cloud is a really nice touch in the image. The exposure is right on.
