[Please view larger version!] This image was captured about 10 minutes after my "Coyote Cove" image. The low clouds had moved back in, totally changing the scene and casting an interesting pall over the landscape. This was one of the only exposures I got with the distant teepees slightly illuminated. Soon after the clouds thickened and everything turned more muted and gray. C&C much appreciated!

This is gorgeous Jared. What a lovely color palette and such an "otherworldly" look.

Whoa, truly off-planet. Beautiful warm-to-cool color palette and lots of detail to explore.

Great detail colour and sense of depth added by the cloud cover. Foreground seems a touch dark....but I think that adds a nice contrast to the scene... :toast:

This is really alien landscape Jared. Lovely mood. I might reduce the blues on the rhs a bit

Excellent. Great mood created by the fog. What a dreamy, other-worldly image.

Nice composition and wonderful light. The magenta on the far teepees looks a little strong. Other than that, this is very nice image with a dreamy, almost mystical quality.

Wow, Jared, you sure had some crazy conditions in this wild place. I gotta get out there sometime soon. Special conditions and a special image.

I like this one a lot, Jared. This is a really unique take on this location with what I assume are relatively unusual conditions. Excellent composition and very well done all the way around!! :toast:

Killer....
I like the colors a lot, the blue looks fine for me in this, kind of dreamy.
Also the lighting in the FG.
Very nice...

A wonderful image 1 The way the light and the low clouds drape themselves across the landscape makes the rocks seem almost to pulse with life.

So which planet was this taken on? Absolutely stunning.... There is a strong gradient in the sky, but it works really well for me, especially because the brightest part is behind the largest part of rock. A real winner!

The large version is a real treat, Jared. The atmospherics are sublime with the fog and the warm subdued light on the rock formations in the BG is gorgeous. Wonderful image!

Really a gorgeous and thought provoking scene. I like the comp as well that leads me nicely into the distance. I think you could pull down the magentas a good 30-40% and the resulting, more blue tones may add to the "ghostly" mood

Damn nice image and crazy conditions! :toast: :toast: :toast:

I think if it were mine I'd try to reduce a little of the blue on the right and slightly lower the luminosity of the highlights on the left. But that is being nitpicky...
