Enchanted

This is beautiful Kah. I think I've been to the exact same location few years ago. Although I did not get as wonderful pics I might share a few.

This is just a great image. The colors, fog, composition, everything work together. I can see this hanging in a fine art gallery.

Oh my..... the thumbnail caught my eye and I'm really glad I opened this up. This is simply sublime. The mood presented with the contrasting colors, the subdued foggy background, the superb composition..... This is over the top for me. Absolutely love viewing images like this one

Sweet! Beautifully done Kah Kit. the mood here is superb with the light fog as is the combo of warm and cool colors. I can see why this would be your favorite of the year.

The large view is definitely a treat. Actually, this is personal taste but I would prefer the background to be lighter. Really strong image, Kah.

Lovely, the blue fog b/g against the orange dainty leaves amazes the eye. Well done!

I suspect this is the type of photo most of us dream of taking someday. Not much to say other than this is a strikingly beautiful image.

What an incredible light you have captured here!! And the small tree in the foreground works perfectly to add just the right amount of color. I am speechless.....

Sweet image, Kah. Images like this with forests are difficult to frame, but I think you've done an excellent job. As a minor suggestion, in post you might want to consider diminishing the brightness of the highlights just to the left of the predominant tree on the left. Excellent work.

I am spellbound.

Great work, Kah, getting that tree with leaves to stand out so nicely (and colorfully) from all those trunks fading into the fog. This is indeed a fine art beauty.

Striking image. The colored leaves seam almost to hover in front of the blue-gray foggy woods. Beautifully done.

Wow, This is absolutely beautiful. I love the composition, light, color and the mood is just fantastic! It doesn't get any better than this in my book.
Awesome image Kah Kit!

Wonderful and relaxing

This is definitely enchanting, Kah Kit. I like the way that the bright reds contrast with the foggy forest. There is definitely a sense of mystery to the mood of this image.

Absolutely great photo, subtle and beautiful.

A sheer pleasure to view (obviously no suggestions).

Oh my gosh, this is GORGEOUS! The large version is mindblowing. Great shot Kah Kit.

Easy to see why this is your favorite for the year - it's just gorgeous! Love the light, uplifting mood created by the delicate branches and small leaves. Perfect title!

Outstanding!

Beautiful and otherworldly......
about perfect....

LOVE the depth here. Killer shot.

This is perhaps the best image I've had the pleasure of viewing in quite some time. There is nothing I can think of that could make this better. Absolutley spell bounding, KK. Color combo, graphic comp, fog, everthing works in spades. Awesome.

This, sir, is one of the most spellbinding images I've seen posted here. This is simply stunning, spectacular, haunting, enchanting...the words fail. Wonderful photographic art. I can see why it is a favourite. If your portfolio has been lacking in forest scenes, you surely are delivering in quality if not quantity. I'm going to stop typing now so I can just soak this in some more.

Splendid, with a beautiful contrast between the warm and the cold colors...

Nicely done. The way the orange leaves jump into the 3rd dimension set this apart.

A really nice and relaxing image, perfect for having on your wall! Nice!

The warm and cooler colors together make for an appealing tension to me. I also appreciate the subtlety of the structures in your image.

What an spectacular combination of colors and armony

Beauty Kah!

the vibrant splash of warmth against the somber trunks and cold fog is stunning. Beautiful job on this

I can see why it's your favorite. Fabulous colors and mood, and an Asian painting quality to it that I love.

seriously gorgeous image! colours, comp, tones - all spot on. love it.

Nice image with a great, moody feel.

Love the delicate color of the leaves against the moody background. Fabulous light too Kah Kit.

Thanks for all the comments; I'm happy to hear that many of you enjoy it too. Bill Leggett : good suggestion about that brightness which I hadn't noticed.

Wow...
