Excellent capture of the head and the dew-dropped wings of an insect nicely posed, Balan. Apart from the rear-facing wing in particular being a bit tight in the frame I like this a lot, not least for the way the turquoise of the ?eyes shows up against the pale yellow ground.

The focus on the dragonfly's head is marvelous, Balan. The dewdrops on its wings and body hair work very well too.

Perfect bg for this dragonfly. I think the dew draped look is wonderful. Have a wonderful year.

Hi Balan,

This is a pretty nice shot. This clearly shows that dragonflies remove dew drops from their heads. Focus and composition right on. The colors of the bg contrast nicely with the dragonfly's blue eyes :toast: ..............................Jim

That's one dramatic eyeball, Balan. It really catches attention. All of the dew and the frame filling pose are fine additions, but that eyeball really pops. Well done.

Happy New Year to you too, Balan. Beautiful color combination and dramatic, frame-filling composition. Your low POV works very well to capture the details of the critters eye and face.
