Just to bring a bit of warmth to the scene, albeit mild over here with no snow, guess I will have to wait till Feb & March for my fix.

Have a good Xmas & New Year to ALL.

Subject: Ostrich in early morning sun (Struthio camelus)
Location: SA
Camera: Canon 1DX
Lens:200-400f/4 (with Uniqball & mounting)

Original format: Landscape, very slight crop.

Steve,
Wonderful pose amid habitat, and certainly a much warmer scene than I'm realizing in New England!
Merry Christmas :toast:

The warm tones work very well, and the detail in the feathers is really excellent - bet wishes to you too! :toast:

Nice light on this big bird -- thinking there be some negative space on the right might try cropping some off the right just to see what it looks like
