December 13, 2014 This is another shot from my day at Blackie's in Newport Beach,California. While not the most interesting wave or manuever on it, the photo does have unique qualities.

Lots of tension going on. I caught his eye seriously glaring from behind the soaked locks of hair... The water spray gives the feel of the action, while the surfer shows the anti-gravity, balancing effort. I'm really enjoying your surfing series, Patrick. Thanks.
