Hey Ray,
I truly enjoy your post and the slow but steady rhythm in which they appear, it's very clear by viewing your gallery, you have an unmistakable style and the highest in quality of images. This composition only proves my point and the larger version should not be missed. The colors, the detail, the pose, the perch are all excellent. If it were mine and I wish it were, I would try it with the one lone twig cutting thru the end of the perch cloned out so as not to take away any attention from the subject.
Well done as always . . . :toast:

Ray,
This is a wonderful shot and it seems that you have caught an expression on his face. I wonder how the shot would look if you were to clone the branch to the right of the log and those that intersect the bird's wing. :toast:

The falcon is amazing. Sharp, and I love the expression. If I'm being honest, the OOF vegetation kind of ruins it for me. Wish it weren't there.

Superb shot Ray. You captured a great take-off pose and the color and detail is excellent. I'm not concerned by the vegetation in the comp, for me it shows natural habitat. :toast:

That has some impact! The head on view is very nice. I like the wings up pose. I'm bothered by the OOF branch in the lower right. The ones behind the bird aren't ideal, but don't bother me as much as the aforementioned one.

Thank you all for the critique and comments. I certainly see how the branches can be a distraction. Appreciate the critiques.

A wonderful capture of this striking fellow taking flight Ray  I might be tempted to remove the branches, but personally they really don't bother me.

Sweet One!
