Foxglove and Fern

Apparently foxglove's an invasive, exotic weed in New Zealand along with the amazing fields of lupines but they sure are pretty! I wish our American weeds were as photogenic... here in California we've been cursed with yellow star thistle. :frown:

Canon T1i, f/8, 1/40 sec., ISO-400, 96mm, handheld.

I agree, this is a beautiful plant. And you've done justice to it - the color and saturation are perfect, as is the depth of field. Gorgeous!

L ovely! Foxglove is all over the westside of Cascades... The green b/g makes this lush and contrasted niicely. KenS

Dave: Excellent placement of the foxgloves in the frame and the ferns make a fine BG. Top notch shot.>=))>

The foxgloves are nicely isolated from the bg, Dave, and the contrasty lighting helps them really stand out here. Lovely image !
