More early morning shadow play. I decided to leave the grass tufts to actually break the rhythms a bit. All comments welcome.>=))>

Excellent work with the soft shadows - it perfectly conveys the soon-after-dawn atmosphere!

Excellent, Bill! I love the fine textures and the way the shadowed ridges form a diagonal graphic in the composition. The light is great and the exposure was perfect. Very well done!

A real beauty Bill. Such a delightful texture and the small variations in the color pallette are wonderful.

Your GSD images have all been very nice, Bill, but this is my favorite. It has an elegant simplicity that I find very appealing.
Well done!

Okay Bill, it is now settled in my mind that I am going to Great Sand Dunes NP in the near future!!!
As others have said, the elegance of this image is one of a kind, and the the texture of the sand is divine.
Fantastic work!!!

Excellent....
I do think a crop taking the shadow off the bottom would look good.

Gorgeous work, Bill. I love the soft light along with the undulating lines and earth tones. My only suggestion; and this is just a personal preference; would be a crop of the shadow area and darker spot on the bottom. either way this is beautifully done.

Very nice indeed Bill, I like the diagonal comp and as you say the shadow play. I think the grass tufts help with scale here too.
Cheers, Gary.

Those swirling dunes and the early light are wonderful. Bill. I especially like how you've got the dune crests angling across the frame, that creates a strong dynamic tension.
