A little over a million acres of salt pan—it is a wonder any wildlife exists there at all! Yet they do, and in some abundance. Is this a black rhino?

Philip,
Although the mouth is not that distinguishable in this image, the other image I posted has a wide mouth which should therefore be a White Rhino.
Thanks very much for your comment

The running action makes the shot and the warm colors work well. On a very nit-picky scale I suppose one could wish the vegetation line did not bisect the body, although I do like the horizontal layers of the image.

A classic shot. I love the warm color of the grassland.
