Was trying to photograph birds at the nature center, when this fox squirrel stuck his nose around the tree to see what was going on. Late afternoon light.

Canon PS SX60
1/125 @ F-6.3 ISO640
Canon 3.8-247 @ 200mm HH

Like the peek-a-boo pose. His fur seems to be pretty soft though and there is a substantial amount of noise in the BG. How much was this cropped?

Hi,

I agree with John's comments. It is a cute pose and probably was a very tricky exposure for the available light..........................Jim

Hey John,

I like the "peekaboo" nature of this shot. Tough, tough light. If this is a crop, it might be worth getting the squirrel's head a little higher in the frame.

Cheers...

I decided to post the original full frame of this image. I have only resized for posting, no other processing. Comments appreciated.
