Shot this in 2009 and just reprocessed it quickly tonight.

Red Maple leaf in a little brook near my home.

Canon 50D; Canon 100-400mm.

Splendid, eye-catching effect, Wayne ! The ripples and streaks of light across the water and the leaf itself give the image a really vital feel.

Looks great, Wayne. The leaf stands out nicely and the combination of ripples and pebbles adds lots of interest to the rest of the frame.

This is really excellent Wayne. If this were just leaf and pebbles under water, it would be appealing. But the added element of the light playing throughout caused by ripples in the water takes this composition to the next level. I might only suggest toning down that one relatively larger hot spot on the lower left edge of the leaf.

Brilliant Wayne! Love it. The golden sparkles on the leaf make this really vibrant and unique. Well done!
