I liked this jumble of boulders (pink granite) in Castor River shutins early October.

Wow that is some nice pink rock. We have something similar here in Scotland but ours has more in the way of impurity lines etched through its surface.

I think this works well. Interesting to see how the boulders have been shaped by the water. The hint of autumn color in the background is very nice as well.

Very nice color, texture and lines. The light looks nice for this scene. I like the composition also.

Crazy looking granite!! You have done a good job with the comp, with an almost abstract foreground leading to some color in the back.

Mark, Really an interesting set of boulders you found here. I like your comp very much with the bit of fall color in the background. Wonderful shapes, color and textures in this rock. Very nicely done!

Mark,

You did a great job organizing and framing up this beautiful group of boulders. The larger version is much appreciated, and I can really admire the details and colors in that one. Plus, I like the subtle nature in the two mini falls.

Great little scene here

Love the forms of these boulders scattered in this creek bed. Your composition really shows off the character of the rock. The subtle pinks of the granite play nicely with the autumn colors in the background.

It's a neat "pile" of rocks with some well worn pot holes and a fine gentle pink color in the rock. The touch of fall color adds nicely to the warm.

Works very well with the diminishing perspective, colors, textures. And just a bit of foliage to offset all that pink.
