After Harvest, Autumn
by Wayne Jones
The Adirondack region has a short growing season and a very long winter, but hardy farmers still make it work. This is part of the McKenzie Range viewed from the Saranac River Valley on October first.
Canon 5D3; Canon 24-105mm.; Circ. Pol.
HDR: 5 exposures @ f/5.6; ISO 160
Processed in Nik HDR Effects Pro 2, and PS CC
Note. After showing this friends, I found some liked the top part, without the farm field, so I am also posting that one in the Landscape Gallery. Please let me know what you think. THANKS
>>>----> P.S. I just noticed that the small version is more saturated than the original large one. I got lazy, and let the Web site's software resize it, so if you have comments related to color processing please base them on the large version.

6 commentsPleasant image. Has a calming mood to it. The colors are exactly the problem I described in my response to your forum post. The larger version contains an embedded sRGB profile. I have no idea what the smaller one does, but this image is an example of the problem.

I love this version from the others that you have posted in the landscape Gallery. It is such a balanced capture, and the light is so sweet. The fg has lots of interest, the mountain backdrop provides beautiful color and lots of depth, and look at those awesome clouds.
Beautiful work in photography Wayne!!!
