Shot this leaf as it lazily floated by. The bg is composed of fall foliage reflections. Mill Creek MetroParks, Youngstown. D700, 80-400 @ 240, f9, 1/160, iso 800. Comments, suggestions, and questions welcome. :wavey:

Cool shot, Scott. The leaf and it's reflection are nicely sharp and the colored reflections in the water are telling me that it was a glorious fall day.

A neat take here, Scott. Looks like a miniature old wooden ship drifting along.....maybe the Nina, Pinta, or Santa Maria?..... :wink:

Love the reflected fall colors & bit of wake I see as the leaf's pushed along..

A superb contrast between the sharpness of the leaf and the impressionistic reflections in the water, Scott ! A very evocative image ( I would echo Paul's thoughts )
