I really like the dynamic energy in this Rick and the diagonal running through it. I like the image very much as posted. No suggestions.

Rick, the vertical take and diagonal flow works well on this one. My expertise on B&W is very minimal, so, I cannot offer up any processing ideas, looks good to me as is.

Rick,
I am still a beginner on the b+w scene, but I do know I like a nice contrast when it comes to black and white images. I think you have provided the contrast here, and the image flows very nicely from front to back.
Nice shot

This shot has great clarity and I really like the flow of the stream. My only suggestion would be to clean up the white roots or sticks at the top or crop them out.

I like the action you captured here. The repost is even better. Just to nitpick tho - the leaf in the corner pulls my eye a bit.

Wow Rick, I really like peaceful, relaxing streams, but I don't find this one relaxing at all!
Seriously, this image captures some exciting action, and I think your conversion enhances that. The shutter speed is perfect to show movement in the water while at the same time avoiding the long-exposure distortion that can make clear water look like a slugging milkshake. I think your POV captures the change of direction of the stream, too, adding to the excitement.
