'Fishing Lesson'

'Fishing Lesson' is a capture from my Spring 2014 St Johns River trip the week that Mark Seaver joined me. This soaking wet young male came past us very close and I was lucky to click a few frames. Mark and I were testing each other's lenses at the time and I was using his fixed 400 mm for this shot. Hand held from boat, full frame side to side, cropped to 75% of FF all off the bottom. The unfortunate background is a collection of people, buildings and vehicles on the bank of the river at a local County Park.

See Larger Version HERE - it is worth a look

Well, the background isn't ideal but you certainly captured a trophy fish as well as an ambitious young osprey.

The bg is unfortunate Mike but the action captured is great. I love the way Osprey carry fish like a missile. The fish does not look happy!

Spectacular action capture Mike ! The bird's flight posture and its trophy fish are excellent. You might want to blend out the harsh background, especially on the left side. :toast:
