frosty oak leaf

I had placed some leaves in my Packysandra one evening in anticipation of some frost in the morning. I was rewarded with this one. I shot it with my 4 x 5 on Fuji Velvia. The lens was a Nikkor 135/5.6 with a Nikon 4T closeup attachment. Scanned with Canon 9950F flatbed. Some of the reviews on this scanner have been lackluster, but I'm getting fantastic results.

Hey Steve

Great looking colors. Frost always adds a nice touch. Good details.
Nice work.

I really LIKE this one - the frost really adds dimension to the image IMO... DOF is right on!!

Great shot. The saturated, subdued colors make me feel like I'm experiencing the quiet of an early Winter morning. Thanks for sharing

This makes me think of John Shaw's photographs from the 1980s. That is a compliment.
