First, sorry for my lack of participation lately but should be around more in the future. Found this scene while driving around in the center of the island and was struck by the color of the water. Fall color is just starting and finally some rain after a very dry summer. Nothing too special but I liked the colors in this. Thanks for looking.
C&C greatly appreciated.

The deep greens under the water against the oranges are very nice. And that little string of leaves floating down river. What's floating on the water back there?

Very, very nice Bill, great range of colors. Maybe some separation between the foreground rock and the BG mountain reflection might be desirable but I know tripod set-up can limit that. I wouldn't mind a bit more brightness but it feels very damp and BC-ish as presented.

Nice composition, Bill. I like the mood, but feel the foreground and the river could be just bit brighter. This minor, but thought I'd mention it: There's a merger of the foreground rock and the reflection of the mountain. It's not a big deal, but something keep in mind for the future. The color and contrast look quite nice.

Thanks for the input guys. Preston I was hanging off a rock face and couldn't get any separation for the reflection. I'll play with the fore ground a bit later. Thanks.

Bill, This is very nice and I especially enjoy your larger version with such nice details. The colors look wonderful too. As mentioned the reflection is touching the foreground rock but that is a pretty small thing overall. I enjoy looking at this!

Bill, the vertical comp works well here and includes a variety of items to take in. The clear pristine water is a delight to look at from this vantage point. Very nice work as always......glad to see you posting again too.

Strong composition and appealing somewhat muted colors. I like the image as posted. It's real strength for me is the quiet/somber mood it conveys.

A scene where a person can sit for a while and take in the beautiful surroundings and tranquility of a place. That sense is conveyed to me, and I very much enjoy it Bill.

The deep color of the river, the nice reflection and the splashes of color really make this a nice image. I agree with other suggestions already made.

The color of the rocks showing through the water is indeed the star here, Bill. The foreground rock provides a fine contrast. I like this as presented, but could see an alternate view where you crop out the distant mountain and sky.

Very nice autumnal mood created here, Bill. A bit somber with the clouds and dark water; nice contrasting colors. Peaceful and pensive.
