Out Hiking, sunny and 75; then, after a storm rolls through, 35 and snowing in the mountains! You have to really appreciate nature or it will get you, but I love and respect mother nature.

My girlfriend and I lucked out and were off the trails. I captured this image from a damn or something like that. I loved the view and the sounds of the storm!!

Thanks for having a look and taking time out of your life to leave a comment.

All thought always appreciated.

I like the mood and the drama in this Ryan. I might crop some of the sky out but no big deal either way.

The large version looks very nice with good tones and I like the stormy feel to this. Very nicely done B&W.

I an almost hear the wind and feel the chill. I like the layers. You might consider bringing the water up just a bit above neutral grey. Black and White works well for this one.

Ryan, love the story here on this one from GTNP. Brings back fond memories. I recall us getting in a storm up there while hiking once too. We had our gear and were OK, but got wet for sure.

This is a neat a bit panoramic view from your vantage point. I kinda think I recall the area where you shot this from, been a few years now, but what a super place. Thanks for sharing this version.

Looks rugged and cold and foreboding. Makes me shiver and want to have a hot chocolate!

I like your use of layers for this scene and you have to love that drama laden sky. This is beautifully done, Ryan.
