This is Cherry Creek Reservoir in Aurora, CO. I've spent a lot of time over here and enjoy it.

This is the first image I've posted with the Sony A7S. I bought it in order to do astrophotography but am also enjoying it as a point and shoot. Only 12 megapixels but so far I've been pleased with the rendering, especially with the Zeiss 55mm on it. Also given that my eyes aren't as good as they used to be it's nice to have something besides a 500 that autofocuses.

Very nice shot. I would like to see another angle that was really close to the ground, like just a few feet above the path.

The light and textures are exceptional here, Pat ! Beautifully framed scene, with such a lovely blend of soft detail in the grasses and sharp in the trees and leaves. Most excellent !
