There appears to be a dark ring around the highest cloud in the center of the cloudscape. I took this from an airplane. The rich depth of color in the sky was amazing!

Lucy: Nicely done. I always like viewing clouds from above like this. I can never get the pilots to stop so I can set up my tripod. >=))>

Neat look at these clouds, Lucy. The details are great and I like the touch of softness in the foreground clouds in contrast to the sharpness of the thunderheads poking through the dark "ring". I feel like there's a subtle blue cast that would be easy to correct, but that's a very minor nit on a great view. BTW, it's been years since I tried a shot through an airplane window, they just got too scratched up when the airlines went to plastic windows....this must have been a very new airplane. Nicely seen and presented.

Amazing Lucy! Very nice. I always seem to get the dirty windows. This is so clear and the colors are amazing. Well done!

I love the cool tones and the varying brightness to the clouds. The various layers also give the image great depth, nicely seen Lucy.
