Fall is my absolute favorite season. I shot this in Minnesota last October looking into the pasture from the home I grew up in.

Camera gear and settings used: Nikon D5000, f/8, 1/250 sec, ISO 200, 35mm

Thank you for any feedback you might have!

Lovely fall image...I can feel the nip in the air. How lucky you were to grow up looking at this wide open pasture. I like the sun star but there are some funny reflections going on that are a little distracting, both right under the branches on the right and on the ground. Perhaps sun flare, since you are looking right into the sun. Overall a really pleasing scene, though.

Very nice overall this the sunstar and diffraction rays good touches but a few things that are minor nits. The top of the tree trunk has a large of blocked up shadow, the horse placed so close to the edge of the frame seems more a distraction than a positive.

A nice fall scene and sun star. I think cloning out the shadows in the pasture under the sun star would add some to the scene.

Such a tranquil image. Nice sun star. Wish the horse was more a part of the scene-- somewhere in that warm, misty light… But then, horses go where they will. Hope you experienced a happy nostalgia on return to your home place.
