Inner Fall

The inner Basin of the San Francisco Peaks above Flagstaff contains several wellhouses to supply Flagstaff with drinking water. When fall arrives, I think the hike up to the basin destines one of the most beautiful spots in Arizona. On this morning, low clouds hid the two main peaks. This is a hand blend of 3 images for depth of field (Zerene did not yield optimum sharpness with the grasses and lichen). As always, open to honest suggestions and critique.

Zerene will do that to you in a complicated blend. Using the originals to edit from within the program is the usual answer. Anyway, a nicely composed picture. The peaks would have brought this image home.
