This is my favorite pink rose in our local Woodland Park, "Pink Promise." I usually shoot there in late afternoon light and was fortunate to find some prime blooms this late in the season.

Take care.

Hey, Ram-- thanks, fixed that corner.
Thanks for the nod Bob & Charly and Gigi.
Yes, Scott, the Poodle can point; but it's more likely to be at birds, squirrels (great when looking for wildlife) and icky smells he likes (not so great....). His virtue as an asst is PATIENCE and alerting me to his suspicions when I'm busy with my nose in a flower. And he wags his tail happily when I'm enthusiastic about a shot. What a pal. Yes, Bill, it is Rory, now age 3, and since he lives to GROW hair, he GOES, right??
Phil, you were in my home place, which I still love dearly and go to often-- Point Defiance Park, a remarkable area. It has windward and leeward ecologies, old growth forest, beautiful cultivated gardens including roses and dahlias and a very fine small zoo featuring animals and birds of the Pacific Rim. And you were viewing the Tacoma Yacht Club. The ferry to/from Tacoma and Vashon Is. pulls in next to the yacht basin, making navigation in/out of there hair-raising at times! Chihuly Glass... nothing like it; glad you got to see the museum, and he now has a gorgeous "garden" installation at the Seattle Center, base of the Needle. 10 yrs? Time to come back!!
Best wishes to all!
Exquisite classical shot of this beautiful specimen
