Am seeing this flower in the wild after may be four years or so. As usual was very awkwardly placed, and struggled to get a decent angle.
Conditions were very cloudy..

7D, 50 Zeiss with Extn, 200ISO, 1/250, 5.6, Some PS corrections,

Balan: Marvelous subject and great colors. The OOF anther in the RLC is a bit awkward but I'm not sure what to do about it. The partial anther on the very bottom would be pretty easy to eliminate and I would recommend that. >=))>

Balan - How much of extension was used ?

Love the way petals are captured. I think if there was a way, you could have avoided all those pollen pods completely (even though that might have shown an incomplete flower).

I love the lines, curves, and punchy colors Balan. I wondered about the OOF anther, but in the full size shot I am OK with it.

That is some brilliant color Balan. Just gorgeous. I think a crop of just the petals would also make a great image. Well done!

Sweet sensual image.  Only possible distraction is orange in bottom right corner.
