These sea stars were left high and dry after a big storm on Perdido Key. I thought this triptych was an interesting way to spotlight them.

The triptych presentation has an intriguing quality that I feel enhances the capture. Good choice!

Hi Lucy,
High marks for creativity here Lucy. I do think there is sufficient interest (and loads of texture) in the image alone to make it work (sans triptych), but this approach would definitely appeal to many.
