Take off in the Storm

We've had some pretty spectacular lighting storms in the past couple of weeks.

To full enjoy this shot, please view the larger version (which still doesn't really show what's going on very well).

Lightning storm over the west mesa in Albuquerque, NM. The smooth arc going up an out of the frame on the left is a jet lifting off from the airport. A careful look at that arc and you'll see little blips where the lights where blinking on the wing tips.

Fun stuff, with a rather unique look.

Wow, Keith, what a fine catch, with all of the lightning and the jet take-off.
