White Water and Rocks

I photographed this on the Merced River in March. The saying "Their is a picture in a picture". There was so much that I decided to crop the original, which I thought provided a more focal point. Any thoughts? Thanks

The crop works for me, Floyd. It simplifies the scene and still retains the key elements. I could also see cropping about 1/3rd from the left side and just leaving the rocks and the white water. just a thought.

Like this. Real and abstract at the same time.

Nice water abstract, Floyd. I agree with Ed's comment regarding a crop from the left. The color looks nice and the red stain on the rocks really pops.

Beautifully done Floyd. I prefer the cropped version but both are really nice.

I like your processing of the water. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of sharpness of the rocks.

Thanks Marc for your comment. You made the similar comment on my "Simply a Rose" and this one. On my monitor every thing appears to be in focus, other than those rocks washed with water.
