M. Rocks with Milky Way

I took this last weekend at Monument Rocks NNL, in western Kansas. The moon had finally set, allowing the Milky Way to shine. The Rocks were lit indirectly by my car headlights. This is cropped from 4 horizontal images stacked vertically and stitched in PTGui. 7D, ISO 3200, f/2.8, 15 sec, 14mm Rokinon. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

I like this a lot, Rob. I might tone the light painting down a tad on the rocks and clone the red lights from the horizon. Those are some really cool rocks.

I like the contrast of these white stones and the dark night skies...it has sort of a spooky feeling. I would also clone the red lights in the distance and also would be tempted to tone down the rocks

I agree with the suggestions already made. This is a really great comp and it's really cool to see Monument Rocks with the Milky Way.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I had considered that the rocks were a bit bright, and considered darkening them some.
