I really enjoy the composition you've found here. The trees nicely set off the foreground rock formation, and provide a wonderful sense of depth off into the distance. You've also captured one of my favorite parts of the park -- the rolling red hills with all those great trees.

The large version puts me right there Pat! Very natural looking as well. Love that glowing light on the hoodoos too!

Sweet image, Pat. Very well composed with the hoodoos in the llc and the distant hills in the bg. I love Bryce, and you captured its essence very well here.

A surprising and unique take on this familiar terrain. I love how your processing brought out that wonderful glow.

This is a great look at Bryce, Pat. Sunrise behind the hoodoos does add some nice glows.

Thank you all for the comments. I appreciate them.

Preston,
The processing on this was very straightforward. I'm still fighting with the high dynamic range images but think I'm making some progress. I'm staying in Photoshop pretty much exclusively now. I have to smack my right hand with my left when I'm in LR though to stay away from the slider controls. (smile)

Wonderful glows on the spires or pinnacles here, Pat. Hard to catch this phenomenon just right. Nicely done.

Edit: I knew this looked familiar the first time for me, but just could not place the exact locale. It reminds me of Cedar Breaks a lot. Having only been to CB once but numerous times to Bryce, it just looks different then the normal Bryce shots. The glow is sure the attraction here......

Pat: Marvelous light and a fine capture of a beautiful scene. Hoping to go there in a few months so you've set a standard. >=))>
