Glowing

I built a blind and feeder setup last year with the orientation between the two set primarily for winter shooting. This time of year early morning gives some pretty significant side lighting depending on where the bird chooses to perch. I went out for half an hour yesterday with some nice filtered morning light and came back with a few images I like. This juvenile American Goldfinch is the first.

1Div, 500mm f4 ISL + 2.0TC, Jobu Gimbal mounted to blind window, f9, 1/160, iso 640, -1/3 stop compensation, pattern metering, aperture priority. Processed in LR5 & CS6-no change to saturation or white balance. Removed an offending oof fir tip in processing. Cropped from the horizontal to 7.9 MP of the original 16. Taken July 27th at 6:25 am.

Comments and criticisms are appreciated.

Thanks,

Nate asked "did you bring up the shadows some here?" Yes. Not too much, I hope. I was trying ot make sure there was sufficient detail without overdoing it.
