Summer flow, water is normally flowing over the top of the boulders on the top right, fall rains will bring it back to normal. Actually went out to take some test shots with my new D-7100, I find it to be a pretty amazing camera.

Nothing I'd change John. Very interesting comp and pov. The water is processed perfectly for my tastes and I love the rich detail and hues/tones of green. As always with your work, a very appealing mood as well. Beautiful...

Very engaging comp and the development enhances it even more. Curious what lens you're using with this new camera?

Pat & Tony, thank you for the very nice comments.
Tony, I was using my old 28-105, always been one of my favorites. Thanks again.

Congrats on the new digi-gear John.....

This might be the best you've ever posted from Plotterkill, but hard to say as you've enjoyed such a long history of very fine images from that area.
I'm really liking this vertical take here on the falls and the point where you've actually placed the spill-out of the water-flow. The placement & the actual color of the rocks seem to work well with the overall primarily green landscape too. Very nice indeed.......take care!...

Sweet shot John! The greens caught my eye immediatly and they combine so well with the warmer tones in this image. The composition is very well balanced too.

John, This is really cool looking! At first look I wanted to rotate it 90 degrees cw. But then that went away! Such an interesting view and very well done.

Very nice, indeed, John. I like everything about it. Great sense of place. Just one after thought: You might consider burning down the boulders in the URC just a bit.

The D-7100 is an amazing camera. I love mine.

This looks great, John. I like how the pink rocks at the top and the water accent all of the greens. The steep look over the falls works well also. This is lovely.

I like a lot of the elements in this photo, but the composition just isn't working for me. It doesn't have the sense of rhythm and flow that makes for a cohesive composition. I think that part of this is because all the elements (other than the waterfall) look like they should be turned 90 degrees clockwise, and that is messing with my brain. This creates a conflict between the waterfall and the rest of the scene. Maybe that conflict could be resolved if a wider view was presented to show more of the scene, but as it stands, I don't get the calm sort of feeling I would expect to from such a shot.
