retired pullley

Noticed how the evening light coming through the barn door struck this old farm pulley. Liked how it looked. I have walked past this pulley many times, but it was not until I saw it in the evening light that I realized a photo potential.

Very nice impromptu capture here, John. Kinda gives the feeling of a piece of well used hardware getting a final break from duty and bathing in the retirement sunlight.

Very nice still life, John. The late side lighting really shows off the color, detail and textures.

The grain of the wood behind the rusted pulley , and in this light, is just excellent!
