Tioga Pass on May 3rd.

I have been to Tioga Pass in the spring many times, and I've seen more snow here in early July than what we saw on the 3rd of May. Unreal.

Sweet shape to the clouds. Mother Nature is hard to figure.

Very much like the balanced light and the strength of the elements. This is a scene that I could drive by and never even imagine an image, but this works quite nicely.

Nice image with a wonderful cloud. Compostion is fine as well. The image looks very natural, but I wonder if you can give the image more drama by increasing the contrast in the sky.

The sweeping line of the cloud keeps me firmly in this image. Great composition, simple, engaging, and beautifully done.

This looks great to me, Preston. I'm enjoying the nice natural feel and the quiet mood it seems to have. I like those clouds a lot! Very nice!

Real nice Preston, the sweeping clods really brings this scene to life, definitely has a winter mood even if it is July. Beautifully seen and presented.

Absolutely stunning Preston! I am a real cloudophile, so I really love this. No nits for me.

Preston, while I might normally like a bit less sky, the sweep of the clouds adds a lot to the comp. Nice work.

Wonderful processing...
Not overdone and everything looks natural.
The cloud is majestic and just enough FG to anchor the scene.

I would personally crank up contrast in the sky a tad since it's what really makes this scene work. A fine composition.

Very interesting cloud formation, which you worked nicely into an elegant composition. I like the subtle processing (low contrast and low saturation). It gives a classy feel and fits the subject.

Preston,

I don't think I can put this any better than Dietrich did.

Can’t tell for sure but on my laptop the snow looks a bit blue and underexposed. I would prefer a bit more contrast on the ground/trees, were the blacks seem to be lacking.
