Georgeous capture. My only nit is that it is a bit bright. Pull the exposure down a bit on the Kestrel and it will be perfect. Well done.

Nice look back pose on this Kestrel and I like the feather pattern on the back. Good eye contact too. I agree that it looks a little bright on my monitor too. A little exposure reduction or a bit more in the blacks will add to this nice capture.

Try a midtone correction of about -15% in levels for all but the blue sky. Should make a difference. A great image, BTW!

Lovely, Sandy. Nice job on the exposure. A bit of a steep angle, but if it's anything like the American cousin, that's almost a given.

I agree it looks overexposed. See you shot it at +1, so that also makes sense. Love the sharp detail and the environment. I am fine with center comps, but it just isn't working for me on this shot. I would move him more right or go with a vertical crop.

Another beauty, Sandy. I like that stare down that you're getting. I'd like to see a repost with the exposure pulled down a little.

Ok, here is a less-bright version:
Looks as if it's monitor-calibration time again!
