Country Line Dance

Gallery: FloraPosted June 25, 2014282 views16 comments
Lately as I wait for some macro action, I pick out possible floral groupings/comps to shoot. We planted a large area with 2-3 hundred multi-colored zinnia's this spring.
I call this 'Country Line Dance' because we do happen to live in the country.. Duh
F/7.1, 1/1250th, ISO 500, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 1.4x and overcast @ 12:43pm with monopod for support. I left the OOF orange RBC on purpose, but you can let me have it if you like

Howard - Wont change anything here. This is crazy good :toast: - love the spacing between the in-focus and out of focus Zinnias.

A neat bit of whimsy, Howard. I have no problem with the orange RBC, as long as it follows the call.

:toast: Has to be one of my newest favorites of yours, Howard. The variety of colors, flowers, and all around placement of the subjects in the composition is perfect. As already stated, no need for change here on this one, print it.......

btw; no need to drop the orange one in the RBC either.

Very well done both in the garden and the camera. The hummingbirds should be back soon. :wavey:

I like the line up, Howard, and how each one is different. Good job on the spacing and crop. I see lots of photo ops for these zinnias in the future. :toast:

Neat look at the "flower line", Howard. Does give a good feeling of a line dance. Well seen.
