Even after waiting for 2 hours the petal in the 7'o clock position would not open completely. Not much choice but to include it.

LARGE VERSION <--- Link to Large Version.

ND300s, AFS105mm F/2.8 VR Micronikkor, F/22, 1/50 Sec, Overcast Day, ISO400 and of course Tripod.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Very Dewy Rose and let me know what you think of this one.

Exotic looking poppy, a very detailed look at this gem Ram.
I especially like how these colors contrast & compliment, those textured petals, and the interesting center structure :toast:

Nice close-up to show the center details…as if freezing an explosion. But, you did a very fine job with the petals where the textures seem aged and paper thin. Perhaps a bit steep transition from the brighter outside of the petal to the deep red interior. Well done!

This gives a fine sense of the flower center being nestled gently by the petals.

Stunning detail in the center Ram. Great handling of the dark color and a very rich and unique combination of colors. Very well taken.
